Servings 0

Ingredients

  • 1 4 oz garlic & herb goat cheese log from The Humble Goat softened
  • 1 baguette sliced into ½-inch rounds (8 slices)
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil plus more for brushing
  • tbsp honey or to taste
  • Small handful of fresh herbs: microgreens baby basil, or thyme
  • Pinch of sea salt optional

Instructions

Make the Crostini

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  • Toast for 8–10 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crisp.

Crisp the Garlic

  • In a small pan, heat 3 tbsp olive oil over medium-low.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté, stirring often, until golden brown and crispy — about 2–3 minutes.
  • Use a slotted spoon to transfer garlic to a paper towel to drain. (Reserve the garlic-infused oil if you like.)

Assemble the Crostini

  • Spread a thick layer of the garlic & herb goat cheese over each crostini.
  • Drizzle lightly with honey and olive oil.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of the crispy garlic on top of each.
  • Garnish with microgreens, small basil leaves, or thyme

Notes

Serve immediately while the toast is still slightly warm. These are great for brunch spreads, wine and cheese nights, or as a quick party appetizer.
