HUMBLE GOAT JUICY LUCY‼️PERFECT MEAL TO ENJOY WHILE WATCHING THE WORLD CUP FINALS☝️
Ingredients:
1-2 Logs Of Humble Goat Cheese
2 Packs Of Ground Beef
1 1/4 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
Start with ground beef that’s cold from the refrigerator—it’s easier to shape, and you don’t want the fat melting before you form the patties. For each Juicy Lucy, make two very thin patties instead of one. Cut a slice of cheese into quarters and arrange the pieces in an overlapping circle on one patty, leaving a half-inch border around the edge so the cheese stays put instead of leaking out. Then stack the second patty on top, pinch the edges closed, and cup the sides to round it into one even patty.
For cooking, you have two good options. On the stovetop—the traditional method, and the one that gives the best browning—cook the burgers over medium heat rather than medium-high. The lower temperature cooks the patty through to medium doneness while giving the cheese time to fully melt. Let the burgers rest while you toast the buns in the oven; this finishes melting the cheese and lets the juices redistribute. On the grill, cook covered over direct, medium-high heat, since the patties only touch the grates and need the extra heat for good grill marks. The grill’s advantage is that you can toast the buns right on the hot grates while the patties rest—and it’s a great choice in summer, when you’d rather cook outside and skip heating up the kitchen.
